PARVOTSAV · THE RHYTHM OF CELEBRATION
I am a mother who once had a dream — to give my children's soulful singing the bigger platform it deserved. I knew almost nothing about the entertainment industry. But that dream, and the leap of faith it demanded of me, became Parvotsav: my gift to a community I love, built so no one else has to make that leap alone.
— from the founder, with a full heart
Our Story
I am, before anything else, a proud mother of two children who came into this world carrying something rare — a gift for voice, and an instinct for soor that even their music guru could not stay quiet about. He was the one who first told me: the world needs to hear them. And so, timidly at first, I began introducing my children to our community — small gatherings, familiar faces, festival evenings where their voices found a home.
Those small celebrations planted something in me. My dream grew bigger — I wanted to give my children a real, larger platform for their music to be heard. But I didn't know anyone in the industry, and local organizers weren't about to risk betting on a newcomer.
So I took a leap of faith, and decided to build the stage myself.
It was a tough, taxing journey — learning everything from scratch, one phone call, one lesson, one small victory at a time. But it paid off beautifully.
“Against all odds, the event wasn't just a success — it became one of the most celebrated evenings our town had seen in a long time. Even today, people still ask me when the next one will be.”
But more than any praise, what filled my heart completely was this: my true mission — giving those incredible kids the platform they deserved — had been fully realized. Along the way, the connections I made, the vendors and artists and helpers who became friends, the sheer amount I learned about what it truly takes to bring a celebration to life — my own world had quietly become so much bigger too.
Every hiccup, every scramble, every moment of doing it alone in that journey eventually gave birth to something I hadn't planned for: Parvotsav.
I built Parvotsav so that no one else has to struggle the way I did — searching alone, door to door, for the people and pieces that make a celebration whole. Here, I have genuinely tried to gather every ingredient of celebration in one place — vocalists, decor, rituals, jewelry, tradition, and heart — so families like mine don't have to reinvent the wheel to honor their own moments.
And My Children?
They have grown into their own beautiful paths — one exploring the world of business, the other pursuing a career in optometry. But their music never left them, and it never left our community either. They now perform on weekends, singing garba, bhajans, and traditional songs, and are cherished wherever they go.
Even today, people call me just to ask when and where they'll be singing next. And when someone tells me they've organized an event with them themselves — an event I had no hand in — I feel a joy that is hard to describe. Because that was always the point.
I didn't build a world of celebration just for my children — I built a gift for our community, so jubilation could belong to everyone, and keep finding its own way into every home, year after year, long after I've stepped back.
Parvotsav is my extended hand to our community — so that we may support each other, celebrate each other, and never have to celebrate alone.
